On this page are links to a variety of documents I developed for various aircraft and systems I have run into. They are all pretty old and haven’t been reviewed in a while, so give them a check before you rely on them.
I developed a series of procedures for different aircraft I have flown. They are not checklists, and they aren’t really intended for use in-flight. They can be used to memorize the specific procedures or as a reminder if you’re returning to the aircraft type from a while away.
Setup Sheets
Before setting off on your flight in any aircraft that you fly (with the exception of a plane that only you fly) you’ll want to ensure that the aircraft, and more importantly the avionics are configured as you expect and prefer. This collection of cheat sheets focuses on some equipment I’ve encountered in various planes. If you too have this equipment it might be useful, but it’s pretty niche.
- There are some setup sheets for the WCFC aircraft covering the Garmin G5, Garmin GTN 650/750 and GTN 500.
- For those using Foreflight here’s a Quick Reference Sheet.
These are 3 Quick Reference sheets to be used to remind yourself of the key values for the aircraft type.
In my youth I spent a lot of time with KLN 89s and KLN 94s. In order to survive I developed some documentation to help out.
- Some Teaching Notes for the KLN89B
- A checklist for KLN89B and GX 60
- A sort of checklist for an IFR and a VFR flight
